Every puppy at Mountain Dog for Sale is raised inside our home with exceptional care, early socialization, and proper veterinary attention. 72 Hour Exchange Option

If within 72 hours of receiving your puppy you determine that the puppy is not the right fit for your home or lifestyle, Mountain Dog for Sale may offer a one time exchange at our discretion for another available puppy of equal or lesser value.

Conditions for exchange include:

The puppy must be in excellent health with no signs of neglect, injury, or illness, confirmed by a licensed veterinarian

All original paperwork must be returned, including health records, vaccination documentation, and microchip details if applicable

The buyer is responsible for all transportation costs related to returning the puppy and receiving the replacement puppy

Exchanges are subject to availability and final approval to ensure the best outcome for the puppy

This exchange period allows us to responsibly rehome the puppy if necessary while helping you find a better match for your family.

Partial Refund Consideration

In rare situations where an exchange is not possible, a partial refund may be considered on a case by case basis. Refund decisions are based on factors including:

• The puppy’s age and overall health condition
• The amount of time the puppy has been in the buyer’s care
• Veterinary, vaccination, microchipping, and preparation expenses already invested
• Transportation and ongoing care costs

Due to the significant time, care, and financial resources dedicated to raising each Dachshund puppy, full refunds are not offered. Any approved partial refund amount will be determined solely at the discretion of Mountain Dog for Sale after careful evaluation.

Return Requirements

• If returning a puppy becomes the only viable option, the following conditions must be met:
• The puppy must be returned in the same healthy condition as when delivered, with no evidence of neglect, mistreatment, or improper care
• All provided documentation must accompany the puppy
• The buyer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of safe and secure transportation that prioritizes the puppy’s comfort and wellbeing
• Mountain Dog for Sale reserves the right to refuse a return if these standards are not met or if policy terms are not followed.

Ongoing Support and Guidance

Many concerns can be resolved with proper guidance and support. Before requesting a return or exchange, we strongly encourage you to contact us. We are happy to assist with:

• House training and behavior guidance for Dachshund puppies
• Feeding schedules and nutritional advice
